Job requirements:
- BC/BE Dermatologist
- Cosmetic experience a plus
- Any fellowship training a plus (dermatopathology, cosmetic, Mohs, pediatric)
- Unrestricted Colorado Physician (MD/DO) License.
- Professionalism and a desire to promote the Mission of the Practice.
- Ability to attend occasional regularly scheduled meetings and training that may occur before or after clinic hours.
- Must possess the ability to work autonomously.

- 250k-500k annually
- Commission structure allows for earning potential >$700K.

- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and managing patient intake, including verification of medical history, medications, drug allergies, and pharmacy details.
- Assisting in various medical and cosmetic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and dermatological treatments (e.g., botox, fillers, microneedling, etc.)
- Update and maintain patient records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Obtaining and verifying the presence of signed consent forms prior to treatment or procedures.
- Documenting medical treatments and diagnoses as directed by healthcare providers.
- Performing and assisting in setup for procedures such as shave/punch biopsies, numbing for excisions, and preparing for cosmetic treatments.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all treatments and products offered throughout the practice, including cosmetic procedures and cosmeceutical products, to effectively inform and assist patients.
- Adhering to MIPS (Merit-based Incentive Payment System) reporting procedures to ensure the practice meets specific standards for patient care and reporting.
- Administrative Duties:
- Managing daily operations to ensure efficient flow of patients through the practice.
- Handling phone calls, listening to voicemails, checking intramails, making pathology calls and completing daily required tasks.
- Ensuring the office is opened and closed appropriately to allow for effective workflow.
- Maintaining up to date and accurate logs including:
- Biopsy logs, melanoma log, etc.
- Regularly conduct required checks to ensure compliance with safety standards, including:
- Monitoring refrigerator temperatures, verifying autoclave functionality, and auditing medication expiration dates.
- Anticipate office supply needs and notify the office manager of needed inventory and equipment.
- Complete all other duties as assigned by the office manager, practice manager, or other designee
- Compliance and Continuing Education:
- Maintaining compliance with OSHA, Bloodborne Pathogen standards, and HIPAA privacy standards.
- Completing required training certifications including HIPAA and OSHA as directed by the HR manager.
- Ensuring that BLS/CPR certifications are kept up to date, in accordance with company policy.
- Following protocols for employee cosmetic treatments, including adhering to the waiting period and obtaining necessary permissions.
- Teamwork and Support:
- Collaborating with other team members to provide support and cover additional tasks as needed.
- Light travel between offices to fit business needs.
- Participating in team meetings to review daily operations and discuss any changes or updates to procedures.
- Actively participate in the training of new staff members to ensure they are well-equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to new employees, helping them understand office protocols and systems.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced team members, offering assistance and sharing knowledge to promote a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive office culture that fosters teamwork and professional growth.

- Patient Interaction and Front Desk Management:
- Greeting patients both over the phone and in-person in a friendly manner, ensuring a professional and pleasant experience.
- Managing the front desk area and waiting room and maintaining cleanliness and organization, including light housekeeping duties.
- Quickly address patient inquiries, triaging appropriately to the correct department or staff member.
- Appointment and Schedule Coordination:
- Optimize provider schedules to enhance patient satisfaction through efficient appointment scheduling.
- Manage all aspects of appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and follow-up procedures.
- Stay knowledgeable of all office policies and scheduling rules for providers.
- Patient Information and Administrative Tasks:
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accepted insurance plans and communicating relevant information to patients regarding their coverage.
- Collecting and accurately entering all required patient demographic information into the EMR system.
- Verify and update information in patient charts and ensure all necessary referrals and/or authorizations are obtained and linked in the EMR system.
- Collecting required payments and managing financial transactions at the front desk.
- Scanning, uploading, and filing patient documents appropriately.
- Efficiently utilize various office platforms and programs, including EMR systems and scheduling software and patient communication platforms.
- Completing daily tasks by the end of the day including:
- Voicemails, patient communication platforms, emails, faxes, medical records requests, referrals, etc.
- Proper use and care of office equipment and software

- Provide ongoing support and guidance to new employees, helping them understand office protocols and systems.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced team members, offering assistance and sharing knowledge to promote a collaborative and efficient work environment.

- Following the staff schedule and arriving to work on time (15 minutes before the first patient) and staying until the last patient and all shared tasks are completed
