The Cutera Excel V is the most advanced, effective laser for redness and superficial veins/spider veins on the market today. The Excel V targets the redness seen in rosacea and sun damage, spider veins (such as those around the nose or on the legs), cherry angiomas (small, benign red spots), and many other common skin conditions. It can also target the blue veins that can sometimes appear on the face or on the legs. Sometimes, the Excel V is combined with other treatment modalities in order to achieve the best results possible.

In addition to treating redness and vascular lesions, the Excel V can also treat brown spots (solar lentigos) caused by the sun. Over time, and following years of repeated sun exposure, the skin can develop tan or brown spots. These spots are commonly found on the face, neck, upper chest and hands, but can be seen anywhere on the body. These spots can be treated with the Excel V, lightening them and creating improved skin tone.

Downtime for this laser can vary and will depend on the area that is being treated, what is being treated, and your individual reaction to the laser. Dr. Jensen is happy to discuss these possibilities prior to your procedure.
