What Is TruSculpt 3D?
TruSculpt 3D is the next generation in non-invasive body sculpting. truSculpt 3D uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to warm unwanted fat; this heat causes fat cells to undergo cellular death, thus shrinking the thickness of your fat by approximately 25-30%. In addition, truSculpt 3D has the additional benefit of reducing skin laxity.
The truSculpt procedure lasts between 15 minutes and 1 hour, and the heat has been described as similar to a “hot stone massage.” There is no downtime and you can return to your normal activities immediately. If you are pregnant or have any electrical implanted devices in your body, truSculpt 3D is not recommended for you. Please let Dr. Jensen know if either of these situations applies to you at your initial consultation.

Possible Risks And Side Effects Of TruSculpt 3D
Risks or unexpected side effects are uncommon but occasionally do occur. The most common side effects are persistent redness and swelling, which may last several days. Occasionally, a light brown discoloration in the treatment area may result; this is due to the inflammation in the skin. Generally, this is temporary and resolves over time. Due to inflammation that occurs in the treated fat, you may feel some bumps under the skin. These generally resolve with time as well.
